2011 Remove inverter to access motor mount?

Hi All

I have a 2011 volt I need to change the upper left (driver's side) engine transmission mount which is located under the inverter.

The shop manual says to disable the hybrid battery and to unhook the inverter so you can move it out of the way. Has anyone done this? I could not find a thread on either disabling the hybrid battery nor removing the inverter in this forum or on YouTube? if you know of any can you point them out to me?

I am familiar with working on a first gen Prius where you start the process by pulling a plastic plug.

Changing all three mounts but this one looks like it is the most complicated

Thanks in advance

Disconnect the 12V before pulling the HV disconnect located in the bottom rear of the armrest well under the mat.

This may be of help to you:
Thank you both - that is exactly what I was looking for!

I appreciate the help!
Might be a long shot but does anyone know of any videos that show pulling the inverter?
don't forget to unhook the 12V battery prior to disconnecting the HV disco lest you have locked out contactors. Wait several minutes after unhooking 12V to allow caps to drain.

never touched the inverter. I'll look at it today.

Sorry, I forgot to go look at the inverter. Once the cover comes off, it should be fairly straightforward. Mine has security Torx fasteners on the cover. After the 12V battery is disconnected and the HV battery is disconnected and the cover is off, it looks like a few connections and then a few bolts holding the inverter on. If you are capable of replacing motor mounts, you won't have a problem with the inverter. Don't get electrocuted. I can't find my security Torx bits, so I didn't attempt to remove the cover. Hope this helps...
