In 2011 there was a total of 166 EV's sold in the Quebec province ...

100 were CHEVROLET VOLTS !!
54 NISSAN LEAF
12 i-Miev

There is probably some Tesla Roadster and conversions ... but I don't have the numbers ...

The low number was an availability problem since there is a long waiting list of buyers in line ...

With the new EV models that will be available in 2012, lets hope we will bust the 1000 mark ??? !!

It's a city with a young heart and very low electrical rates. Those are good things if you're selling EVs. I just don't know about charging availability.

Hello DonC, just a little precision there, I'm talking about the Quebec Province, not Quebec city ... there is about 8 million habitants in Quebec province.

Right now, there is only 10 public chargers in the entire province, but it will go up to 100 by next month and at least 150 by the summer ...

No offense intended. I was just thinking we wouldn't see too many Volts in Gaspe. But hopefully I'm wrong.
