Condition: Some customers may comment on a noise heard under the hood towards the right side of the vehicle when putting the vehicle into Park.
The noise may be due to the vehicle not being stopped completely and the driver requesting the vehicle to go into Park.
The Bolt EV and Ampera-e can use the Electric Park Brake, or the braking system’s hydraulic pump, to apply the brakes to protect the drive unit while the wheels are turning.
