That's pretty generous. Expires 9/30. But then you'd have... a Leaf.

I wish MY electric company would make me an offer like that. It may be a leaf, but it is an EV, and a start in the right environmental direction. That's pretty generous. Expires 9/30. But then you'd have... a Leaf.

I wish. Leaf only.Do they do that for GM's Volt/Bolt?
I wonder why for an import and not a US manufactured car. That sucks.I wish. Leaf only.
I suspect Nissan is actually sponsoring this rebate.I wonder why for an import and not a US manufactured car. That sucks.
I wonder if you can use the ConEd $10k to pre-pay for a 2018? Or, is this just a program to dump 2017's before the 2018s hit the showrooms?
The ad says starting at $11k after all rebates, heck that's almost low enough to buy one just to have a BEV for now, and then sell it in a year or so (whatever the minimum is to comply with fed and state rebates/refunds).
Kinda wish I had ConEd now![]()
That has to be the case, it's just a marketing gimmick that they are offering it through ConEd. There is no way that an electric company would offer that size of rebate on an EV, and if they did there is no reason to limit it to one brand. Nissan has to dump their old Leafs because they were just obsolesced by the new Leaf. Making an offer though an electric company is smart because everybody opens their electric bill. It also has the ring of found money vs just an ordinary fire sale by the auto maker.I suspect Nissan is actually sponsoring this rebate.
