  1. Generation 1 Volt (2011-2015)
Hey everyone, I am a previous Volt owner (2012) which got totaled in January of this year with 237k miles on it. So, I just bought a used 2015 Volt with 40k miles on it. After buying the car, I took a look in the trunk under the mat and it looks like there are items missing. The OEM inflator...
  2. Generation 2 Volt (2016-2020)
I have owned this car for a couple years and use the trunk like its a pickup truck, everything gets tossed in there. I love that little cubby on the left as there is so much storage in the area in front of the fender. I keep the charger cord, tools, first aid kit, and some other small items I...
  3. Generation 2 Volt (2016-2020)
Has anyone else with a 16/17 had problems getting the trunk to latch? I don't want to slam the trunk so hard I shatter the windows (or generally abuse the car or make noise), but if I don't, about 90% of the time it doesn't completely latch and I get a notice when I start the car.
  4. Generation 1 Volt (2011-2015)
Is there a way to pop the trunk from the drivers seat and without the remote? I can't find any button or latch and no reference to this in the owner's manual. Thank you in advance!

  6. Generation 1 Volt (2011-2015)
I just picked up a MY2014 Volt a few weeks ago. It appears that there should be a handle on the trunk floor cover (the part that covers the charger, tire inflator and 12v battery). The dealer assures me there's not, but it *really* looks like there should be. As I recall, my MY2012 Volt had a...

Oops, Opened the boot, threw bag containing keys into boot, closed boot, voila, locked out......
  8. Chevy Volt Accessories and Modifications
The bottoms of these cargo 'bins' are velcro so they do not slide around. They fold down to a nice, compact size. They do not block the cargo light either. It was like they were designed for the Volt... Great price too.
  9. Chevy Volt Accessories and Modifications
I made a trunk organizer for my Volt that does not interfere with access to the charger. I made it out of foam core board held together with hot glue and then painted it flat black. Elastic material stretched between the D-rings holds it in place. It holds a bottle of Windex, a roll of paper...
  10. Suggestions for GM - Chevy Volt
Does anyone realize just how HOT the black trunk area gets when it is hot out? GM really should make some sort of grab handle that owners can use instead of burning their hand from the black on the hatchback area. I remember when the Tahoes' had this type of handle. Thanks for giving this...
