  1. Use, Care & Maintenance - Gen 1 Chevy Volt
This evening, for some reason, RemoteLink has stopped providing tire pressure info. Happened on two different devices (Android phone and iPad). Anyone else experiencing this? On the first set of screens, where there are normally four screens, now there are only 3. It's as if the tire pressure...
  2. Generation 1 Chevy Volt (2011-2015)
Any one else have this happen? The dash icon went on after I hit the pot hole with the front left tire. I expected the wheel to be damaged but everything was ok. I do keep the tire pressure about 44 psi - don't know if that helped. As many know, this is what us in the NE deal with each spring!
  3. Use, Care & Maintenance - Gen 1 Chevy Volt
I just received my monthly diagnostic email from OnStar, and it shows my Volt's tire pressure as being 44-45 psi (44 psi right, 45 psi left). But my Volt indicates that the tire pressure is 40 psi for all four tires (which is what I set it at two or three weeks ago using the neat tire pump that...

The information below is not a substitute for the information in your owner's manual. That should be your primary reference source. If any information below conflicts with the owner's manual, use the owner's manual as the final word. You'll want sensors that operate at 315 Mhz for 2011-2016...
  5. Generation 1 Chevy Volt (2011-2015)
The tire pressure readings that I get on the dash are way low compared to my personal tire gauge and that of the compressors I use to fill them (at the gas station and the one that came with the car.) In all cases I have put in 38 psi for each tire when cold as per the specs on the door. In...

tire puncture warning We had a puncture last week, and the "white glove" treatment applies all round to GM.... I called On-Star and they had a tow trunk take me to the local dealer (100 yards from our house) and had the tired fixed for the next day (we didn't arrive until after 3pm). It saved...
  7. Generation 1 Chevy Volt (2011-2015)
The Volt's compressor gauge is nearly 100% accurate as I demonstrate in this video. Anyone else notice how accurate it is with their Volt inflator? MrEnergyCzar
  8. Problems, Driver Warnings or DTCs - Gen 1 Volt
I have noticed that both the dash display and often show varying readings for tire pressure when the car is parked. They seem to bounce around a bit, sometimes showing this or that tire low by a pound or two. And of course, when driving it changes and all 4 show the same pressure...
