  1. Li-Ion Battery, Charging, Mgmt System - Chevy Volt
When in each of the regeneration modes, what is the range of charging output? Assuming an ever-lasting hill, running in 'B' mode, how long would it take to fully charge a Volt battery? Surely there's an engineer out there that would love to crunch these numbered!! Eric

Hadn't seen the info to know whether regeneration occurs as generating AC to the controller which would change it to DC for recharging the battery - or is regeneration capable of directly producing 'DC' going directly to the battery? I know in 'motor' mode the electricity is AC from the...
  3. Generation 1 Chevy Volt (2011-2015)
Hey folks, This morning traveling over the Altamont Pass here by Livermore, CA, I was re-generating the battery thanks to the massive downhills. When I left my house, my battery showed a range of 41 miles. When I ended up in downtown Livermore, the battery showed a range of 55 miles. It was...
