  1. Going to be very few Gen2 Volts with HOV stickers in CA!

    Generation 2 Volt (2016-2020)
The longer GM pokes around the fewer HOV sticker Gen2 Volts there will be. Should keep the resale value up when the My17 makes its way early 2016. Does anyone have a "credible estimate" on the remaining HOV stickers in CA? The http://www.arb.ca.gov is usually behind and under reported. How about...
  2. If I buy 2015 Volt today (4/27/15) would I be able to get Carpool Stickers?

Buying, Leasing & Selling - Chevy Volt
Hello All, I'd like to see if someone can provide an advice or a bit of info here... I am trying to figure out if I would be able to get HOV / Carpool Stickers for California if I was going to buy a 2015 Volt today. I have a 100+ mile round trip daily commute and would love to have stickers...
  3. Anyone carpool in their Volt (or other EV)?

    Generation 1 Volt (2011-2015)
Considering carpooling with a co-worker on my 68 mile RT, 50% employer-provided commute. I calculated out the difference in cost to me to pick him up and take him home, and it was just $0.78 cents more a month! (70 miles and no significant time difference). I found this interesting new article...
  4. Where did you stick your HOV decals?

    Generation 1 Volt (2011-2015)
This poll is specifically about the applying of the rear HOV/Carpool decals (stickers). Repeat...the REAR ones only. Also, where I say, "lower black textured area", I guess it could be considered "grey" on some darker colored vehicles.
  5. Two new cars eligible for HOV/Carpool Access

    Generation 1 Volt (2011-2015)
Better hurry and get your HOV/Carpool stickers...the 2013 Ford C-Max Energi and Fusion Energi have just been added to the list of eligible vehicles! Just joking (about hurrying)--the Green Clean Air Vehicle Stickers are available to the first 40,000 applicants and there have been 5,600 stickers...
  6. 2012 CARB / AT-PZEV Status

Chevy Volt General Discussion, News, and Events
Hey all! A hot topic here in California is whether the 2012 Volt will meet the requirements necessary to get carpool lane status. There have been a few preliminary reports that GM was acting to address the reason why the 2011 did not- Cold start emissions. A call to a few dealers has resulted...
