I am running these LED headlights in my 2013 Volt

I was running HID headlights, they had cold start issues and poor beam pattern issues.

These LEDs produce the correct beam pattern equal or better than the original Volt headlight bulbs and
      produce four times the light.

My HIDs caused other drivers to flash me due to the bad beam pattern, not with these lights

Order two sets like I did, so I have a spare set, at the low prices offered by the seller

Thanks for the link. Maybe I will try them next time I change my bulbs.

I guess you could say my experience was different. I replaced my factory HIRs with Morimoto HIDs a few months after I bought my Volt, in 2013. Excellent performance, beam pattern and absolutely no alignment issues. Never got flashed. No issues firing up even in subzero temperatures. After two years, one of the lights started flickering. Instead of bothering to diagnose the issue, I replaced them with a set of 2012 CREE based LEDs I bought from some website I do not immediately recall. While the light output was good, beam pattern, focus, throw and diffusion were not up to the mark.

I switched back to a different HID KIT, this time from Amazon (Innovited). This kit has been doing great on my Volt ... no flashing, and arguably better than the more expensive Morimoto kit. I know LED technology is improving exponentially, and so are HIDs -- though not as drastically. I will definitely try LEDs next time I replace my headlight bulbs but a good HID kit should be just as good (though installation is more complicated). I definitely give it to LEDs for ease of installation.

BTW, I like warmer colors (4300K is my favorite). I find them better in rainy and foggy conditions. I see that most LEDs tend to be cooler (> 5000K)

This says conversion kit, what other work needs to be done. Is this just plug and play?
