Better then the white, but I really don't like this dashboard in any color. I have no idea what the green one will be like, but I can't imagine it being any better. Actually, they might want to try color keying it with the exterior color that the customer orders. It adds sort of a custom touch.

I have to agree. And the screen being fixed doesn't help it any either.

Mleskovar, I don't understand you think it "doesn't help." Can you expand on what you don't like about it?

It's not like the originally-revealed screen design was adjustable, or something like that... It was fixed in place too. However, the current "hooded" LCD design has to be a lot less likely to accumulate dirt and crud, around or behind it. Plus, nobody will mistakenly think it's adjustable, hence inadvertently trying to adjust it and wind up breaking it. Those seem like big improvements to me.

Band-aid fix on a crappy design. Yeah, it's more functional now, but it looks really dumb. Just give us the Cruze interior and be done with it. This would have saved money too.

I don't like the look or placement of the screen...original or this one. If they made it movable all the way to hidden it would be better.

Post What software system is going to run HUD or center console.

I was searching for info about the software system that run the HUD and the Center console. What I have found out that there could be one or more of the 4 that can be use. The 4 software that GM been using is QNX CAR platform, Microsoft Automotive platform, Genivi or Linux based system. I really have no info for the volt that is going to use. I do know that GM has use the 4 software system they play around with. I could not find in this forum. I have search from Google for any hint or leak. Anyone knows or hear about a rumor on what software it going to be use?

I keep forgetting GM's level of "hands on" with the vehicles before they go into production. Also makes me forget how easy servicing GM cars/trucks are.

According to the autobloggreen article they say looks more black not grey. That would make it look like the Opel Ampera interior pics which I like.
